There is so much to put on here to catch up, I don't know where to start :(
Jon and I decided that we would write about stuff happening in the present and also go back and write about from Grayson's birth to now.
So funny story how I found out I was prego... my doctor found a tumor in the wall of my stomach. So on April 9th 2009 I went into the U of U to have surgery to remove it. Any girl that is going to have surgery has to have a pregnancy test before they can preform surgery. So after taking the test, I started getting IVs put in for surgery. A nurse comes in and tells the phlebotomist that she needs to talk to him in the hall real quick. Right then I knew I was prego. My mom and Step Dad Jason drove in from Elko to be with me for surgery. I felt so bad they wasted money for a surgery that now wasn't going to happen and scared cause my mom was in the room with me so I had to tell her within minutes. So a minute later my doctor (who was also performing the surgery), the anesthesiologist, and another doctor came into the room. They asked my mom to step out and informed me I was prego. So then I asked my mom to come back in and told her the news. Then she went and told my step dad. Jon was at work, his supervisor wouldn't let him off that day. He planned on coming up once I got into recovery to visit for a hour. I had my mom text Jon and tell him I was done with surgery. So Jon came up to the U and I walked out into the hall. He thought it was weird seeming he thought I just had surgery. I then told him I was prego and he was shocked. LOL At the time I was 5 weeks along.
Anyways...I had a high risk pregnancy, I had to go to the ER several times in the beginning to get IV drips to get re hydrated from my hyperemesis gavidarum. There wasn't a single day since I found out I was prego I didn't throw up.
When I got to my 2nd trimester I could have the surgery I tried to have back in April. When your prego you can only have surgery during the 2nd trimester, unless its a emergency. I have had 3 surgeries previous to this one and knowing I needed to stay strong for my unborn son this surgery was a piece of cake for me. I recovered faster then any other surgery too. The day before surgery we got to find out the sex of the baby. IT'S A BOY!!! Grayson Curtis Wymore.
When I was about 22 weeks prego, I was dilated to a 1. 26 weeks, dilated to a 2. 28 weeks dilated to a 3. My doctor didn't think Grayson would stay in much longer, so she gave me 2 shots of steroids to help develop Grayson's lungs faster, in case if I didn't make it to 37 weeks So he hopefully would have a more chance of surviving and less time in the NICU if he did survive. At 32 weeks I was dilated to a 4. I thought anytime now I would have him. No we were all wrong!!! At 36 weeks Jon and I tried everything to get me to dilate more go into labor (By this time I had been on bed rest for almost 12 weeks). Even tried Caster oil!!! Glad to say it didn't do anything. For 2 reasons...1) after taking it I found out it usually makes you throw up or/and have to go number 2 for the next few hours LOL and 2) the nurse later told us after taking it, its harmful for you and your baby. So I will never try that again and don't recommend it to anyone.
I have to say I LOVED being prego and hardly complained when I was, can't wait to be again someday!!! :)
